All Lakshmi can think is of herself and her magic stone. Then one day angry that her lie has been found out by her younger cousin, Lakshmi runs away—only to get lost in the forest. Even worse, she sprains her ankle and finds herself at the mercy of Prandaan-Pishashe who the children have been teasing unmercifully. In the end of that surreal day, she realizes that he is neither mad nor a devil, but just ‘Birdman’.
