About the book
From Christy Award–winning and bestselling author Angela Hunt comes The Note, the powerful story that inspired the Hallmark Channel original movie of the same name.
Newspaper columnist Peyton MacGruder's advice column, The Heart Healer, is floundering--and so is she. Once passionate about helping others, Peyton now writes on autopilot, her own heart closed off by disappointment and regret. But everything changes when Flight 848 bursts into flames over Tampa Bay, killing all 261 people on board.
A week later, a stranger hands Peyton a plastic bag washed ashore containing a note almost certainly from a passenger aboard the doomed flight with a simple yet haunting message: T- I love you. All is forgiven. -Dad
Seeing the story as her chance to revive her career, Peyton sets out to find the person the note was meant for. But as she searches for its recipient, she discovers that the message of love and forgiveness isn't just for someone else--it's for her.
Poignant, redemptive, and unforgettable, The Note reminds us that love's final words can change everything. Perfect for fans of Karen Kingsbury and Nicholas Sparks, this bestselling novel is a heartfelt journey toward healing you won't want to miss.
