The book begins with a list of the traditions followed with respect to visiting the Prophets mosque and the manner in which such a visit is performed. The larger more important section of the book, alRawḍa, holds details of biographies of those who passed away in the city and were buried in the alBaqīʿ cemetery. Also included in the book are sections on the life of the Prophet, biographies of his forefathers, children, the Mothers of the Believers, the Caliphs and the ten companions who were promised the Paradise.
